BIOGRAPHY

Billy Rood is a storyteller, photographer, with the sensibilities of a playwright, a filmmaker, a stage director, and even the instincts of an entertainment artist. He is committed to artistic integrity, non-conforming to standard techniques, loves the creative consciousness of a supportive team, and the energy and buzz that influences standards of ingenious and innovative ideas and concepts.

What that means is basically he loves what he does. Billy Rood is a self-taught image-maker who starting photography in 2009. He is based in Chicago but has clients ranging from Miami & Los Angeles.

He currently runs the ever changing and growing photography department of figmedia – figphoto.net. His love of film has made him a Junior Board Member of the Chicago International Film Festival and independent filmmaker. His love of fashion and art has led him to become the fashion film editor to Bambi Magazine.
